Welcome to Happy Haven OSHC
At Happy Haven Clapham we believe in the personal and fundamental core values of Relationship, Community, Leadership and Freedom.
We offer a stimulating open-ended environment which allows children to learn through play and provides them with opportunities to grow and develop as confident individuals. They are encouraged to explore their world through engaging activities with the aid of our educators who support this process. We also offer spaces that allow children to relax, focus and co-construct their own learning.
As a community, we also acknowledge the Kaurna People as the traditional owners of the land and respect their spiritual connection to the land. We strive to embed these local relationships in our learning environment through respectful communication and personalised activities based on the strengths and interests of the children in our care

NQS Rating and Assessment
Happy Haven OSHC has well developed policies and procedures approved by DECD and school Governing Councils on all sites on which we operate. You may ask to see a Policy at any time, and these will be available at your service. We have included some of our policies which may be particularly relevant to you here for your convenience.
All OSHC services need to meet basic standards in order to operate. This is monitored by a national body called ACECQA, with some responsibilities delegated to a South Australian agency referred to as The Board. OSHC services must demonstrate their competency across the 7 Quality Areas of the National Quality Framework for OSHC, and have rating and assessment visits on a regular basis. You can ask educators at your service for information relating to any assessment and rating visits they have had, as well as being able to access the site’s Quality Improvement Plan.
